The story behind Cupcake

Built on years of production use.

We built Cupcake for our own projects. Cupcake-DRCP for Enterprise, our Linux app, has been our main production tool for years, used across many projects.

Now we’re bringing Cupcake to the public. The new macOS edition and upcoming Windows app share the Linux app’s backend engines, building on that foundation for stability and performance.

More than a desktop deployment

Make operations
a shared responsibility.

A server-based environment for the work that needs a persistent home and a team’s attention.

A dedicated Linux footprint

Place the control plane near the source, the recovery target, or in an operations hub. Schedule work on your server infrastructure, independently of an operator’s laptop session.

A shared browser console

Bring projects, connection management, plans, live runs, and scheduled work into one operations surface, with project-scoped role-based access and administration capabilities beyond the desktop products.

Operational context

Review job outcomes, comparison results, and repair history before a cutover or handoff. Discuss access, retention, and governance requirements as part of your deployment.

Shared foundation. Different scope.

Built around how your team works.

The products share backend engines rooted in our Linux app’s years of production use. Enterprise provides the server and team operating model; desktop products use native, single-operator interfaces.
