MySQL table mappings.
Every column counts.

Saving records the plan. It does not start a copy job.

Illustrative macOS mapping editor with example data. Table selection works in this preview; schema checks, editing, and saving happen in the app.

From discovery to a saved plan

Two panes.
One set of rules.

The table list keeps the scope visible. The column panel shows exactly how the selected pair is mapped.

01

Choose both endpoints

Select source and target connections and databases. Cupcake reads their schemas and pairs tables by name. Review the proposed pairs before continuing.

02

Review tables and columns

Include or exclude tables, choose target names, and set source row filters. Select a table to inspect column pairs, key indicators, type casts, and expressions. Row counts in the editor are estimates.

03

Check, then save

Use Check Schemas on a saved plan to read both schemas again, or Compare DDL to inspect differences. Save Plan or Save Changes records the mapping; a snapshot, CDC stream, or comparison is a separate action.

When schemas change

Keep the exceptions visible.

Re-discover refreshes the schema while keeping existing pairings, filters, and expressions. Reset all starts the mapping over; Reset columns rebuilds the selected table’s column pairs.

Saving is not proof of a match

Schema checks report mismatches separately from saving. Review warnings and errors, and pay attention to unmanaged target tables: tables outside the plan are not copied, compared, or reconciled.

The preview shows the current macOS workflow. Enterprise uses its own browser interface; Windows is coming soon.

Save the plan.
Choose the next operation.

Use the same mapping for snapshots, comparisons, CDC, and reconciliation.
